Drawings that hit the sweet spot between effectiveness and accuracy.

Mel Latthitham, graphic designer extraordinaire, created brilliant illustrations of the human body that draw youth in — as opposed to grossing them out.

Learners of all ages can clearly follow the path that egg and sperm cells (and the DNA inside of them) take, to get from where they are made to where they need to go to create a pregnancy. In addition to explaining human reproduction, the illustrations are perfect for learning about anatomy, puberty, and contraception. The illustrations of bodies of various shapes/sizes (we even had fun with the belly buttons) can be printed in black and white, or adapted to any skin color/tone.

Please use the illustrations freely, but with the attributions still intact: Roads to Family, Sweet Bonny, Ann G Scott.

If you are seeking additional graphics in various formats, please be in touch.

The illustrations are great companions to our additional resources: academic lessons, an educator’s guide, discussion prompts, and the book.
